Description

The Popps RANGER is a men's desert boot in dark brown suede leather, an ankle-height lace-up with five eyelets and a round toe. It is a classic casual shape, kept simple so the dark brown suede does the talking.

Comfort is the point here. A textile lining sits against the foot, the lightweight EVA sole takes the jar out of pavements and the flat heel, under 2.5cm, keeps you level through a long day on your feet. The width is regular, so the boot follows a standard foot without pinching across the joints, and the five eyelets let you tighten or ease the lacing to suit the shape of your instep.

These brown desert boots suit men who want one casual boot for most days: errands, a relaxed office, weekends and evenings. Dark brown is among the easiest colours to wear, sitting happily with jeans, chinos and cords, while the suede upper gives a softer, more informal finish than smooth leather.

Great dessert boots.

My husband has worn these style of boot since the 70’s. Thought the offer of two pairs for £60 was a good one. Delivery very swift and nicely packaged. Removed a star as the sizing is a little inconsistent. He had some size 9 previously which were too big so ordered size 8 on his insistence. One pair is good but the other pair is very tight.
