Used to be better choice of styles/options, velcro is very short compared to some previous leather wide fit styles. Much more comfortable than all plastic styles.

These are the second pair I have bought. The reason being that the fit, finish and comfort of the first pair was very impressive and despite me giving them an unfairly hard life they are still giving me sterling service up to this very day!
