Description

The Popps 1961 MOD is a men's monkey boot in green suede, a classic lace-up ankle boot with a round toe and a flat heel under 2.5cm. The burnished finish on the suede gives the green an authentic rustic look, slightly weathered rather than flat and new, so the colour has depth to it.

It is a boot that moves easily through the week. Green suede boots work for weekends, walking around town and casual days out, and the neat ankle height and tidy lace-up front keep them smart enough for jeans or chinos when the occasion calls for something a little more put together.

The fit is regular, with a textile lining inside and a lightweight TPR sole underneath for comfort underfoot. Confortable shoes, right size. Maybe i found them too much flat, prefering low heel and more thick rubber sole shoes. No need to break in as the leather (?) is really soft. While walking tought an embaracing “yek” hope will stop soon 😆
