The size is different from other uk shoe sizes. I ordered size 8, which is always comfortable on my feet with other shoes, but size 8 of this looks size 6 on my feet. My feet couldn't go halfway in .it takes forever to get my refund.

I write this on behalf of my elderly father who has informed me that the shoes are roomy which allows room for when his feet swell but sadly when the laces are pull tight the eyelets have come loose???
Have had 4 pairs of these over c.30 years and have found them ideal - they tended to crack across the middle of the sole after years of heavy wear (including outside) but the sole pattern has now been changed for the better. I'm glad they're still around.

Really pleased with purchase . So comfortable, lovely soft leather , walked miles on a recent holiday in Amsterdam . Almost feels you have no shoes on ! Excellent. Hope to buy more shoes in the future.
These were bought for my brother-in-law and he loves them. They are well made boots and fit as they should.
Thought they would be softer. Soles are hard and not as comfortable as I had hoped.
Liked boots very comfortable unfortunately sent bk as to big. Have had no confirmation of return and refund taking ages so that's why I'm giving a one star.

i was wondering why they were this price , then they arrived and i saw that they were not leather soles, but i am very happy with them because they are comfy to wear and look the part,
