Founded in Leicestershire by 'Honest' John Hall, HJ Hall started life providing warm and durable hosiery to the local farming community. The first factory was built in 1882 in the rural farm setting of Stoke Golding employing just 16 people.
By 1977 the company moved to new premises in Hinckley and thus began HJ Halls rise as the largest independent British sock manufacturer, with innovative designs in both style and foot health. From their 'Indestructible™' socks through to their range of soft top and diabetic socks HJ Hall continues to grow and develop their product range.
In 2001 the company oversaw the acquisition of English sock manufacturer Pantherella, making HJ Hall the leading branded UK sock manufacturer. A further expansion in 2007 saw them take on British sock company Scott Nichol.
Shuperb are proud to present this established British brand to our customers.
